Small sculptures made with the scraps left from cutting panels for the small portrait series in the DC Shul/Church Project and a recent series of portraits of Workers on Strike.
These works bear the echo of figuration, but are formally distinct. The use of wax draws attention to negative space and voids in the constructions.
